Wesley Snipes started appearing in Films and on TV in the 80's but first got star billing in New Jack City in 1991. Appearing on more than one Spoke Lee film brought him some recognition, but was soon playing the Hollywood action hero in films like Passenger 57, Boling Point, Rising Sun and Demolition Man. Proceeding thuswise over the years, it was in 1998 that he starred as 'Blade', the half-vampire that kicks ass. Such a successful character that Blade II and Trinity were inevitable, (and also successful). Between those, he has kept busy in several other action movies.
