Taye is impossibly good-looking with a dazzling smile, but don't let that distract you (too much). Coming to plenty of people's attention on TV show Ally MacBeal, he hinted at his musical talents. Not really surprising though as he studied musical theater. So also not surprising he should get a part as the bandleader in Chicago. An interesting change of pace as this was just after the much darker role in the excellent Equilibrium (and I wish he would do more like that!)
