A number of the people represented on this site have created an iconic TV character in a long running TV series. Very, very few have done it twice. As Angus MacGyver, Richard Dean Anderson was the self-reliant, innovative and endlessly inventive secret agent who found solutions to get him out of sticky situations using his brain and no gun. Richard was no stranger to TV before MacGyver started in 1985 having been on screen since the mid-70's. After the series ended, there were a string of other TV roles, but then in 1997 came Stargate SG-1. As Col. Jonathan "Jack" O'Neill, he has created another unforgettable character. He also exec produces the extremely succesful show.
