Parker started her career on soap opera As The World Turns as Tess Shelby in the early 90's. She has sometimes been called "The Queen of the Indies" because of the very long list of Independent Films she has been in. You might catch her in Coneheads or Dazed and Confused. Parker appears to have turned towards Hollywood though, playing major roles in You've Got Mail, Scream 3, Best In Show, Personal Velocity. Look for interesting performances in Blade: Trinity and also in Frankenstein.
