Matt Damon has enjoyed huge success in a very short time starting in 1997, but worked for years to get to that point. Famously friends with Ben Affleck, it was in 1997 their screenplay for Good Will Hunting finally became a released film and they then stepped onto the fast track. Matt is the Will Hunting that is good and the Private Ryan that is saved and the talented Mr Ripley and Bourne looking for his identity. A few characters amongst many and I'm sure there are many more to come!
