Many an actress of Kirsten's age has only a small amount of acting experience, but Kirsten started acting in TV commercials and modelling at age 3. Her first role in a major film was in Woody Allen's New York Stories at age 9 and it was 1995 when she got her first big role in Interview with a Vampire. Her experience shows in a long list of TV and film roles. Parts in ST:TNG (Dark Page), The Outer Limits (Music of the Spheres), voicing Kiki in Kiki's Delivery Service (Kiki became a nickname that has stuck), Jumanji, Small Soldiers, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Crazy/Beautiful and the Spider-Man movies already show a range that includes many roles to please the SF&F people and those who like her for her looks. A strong part in Mona Lisa Smile followed immediately by Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind conclusively confirms her dramatic acting abilities that stretches back to films like Little Women..
