Josh, armed with height, good looks and some acting talent, was soon in acting work after graduating from school in 1996. Unfortunately in the terrible US remake of the brilliant British show Cracker. But it wasn't the acting that brought the show down and Josh soon got a good role as the son of Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween H20: 20 Years Later. More good parts followed quickly, including The Faculty. Teenage roles turned into young man roles and taking the lead as the young soldier as in the execrable Pearl Harbour and the action fest of Black Hawk Down. Despite the occasional forays into action and thrillers, it is comedy, drama and romance that he continues to be most known for, such as 40 Days and 40 Nights.
