Jennifer studied to be an actress at school (going to the New York High School of Performing Arts). So, armed with looks, talent and training she was soon on stage and then TV. Some regular shows plus the ood other appearance (as in Quantum Leap) and then in 1994 came the pilot for FRIENDS which turned into a massive hit and bringing worldwide recognition for Jen as Rachel Green. The series finally finished in 2004, but Jennifer has been busy making films between filming the TV show, as well as the odd quirky item, such as the software called "Director's Chair" which involved Steven Spielberg helping the User to make a movie, with clips using real actors - so back in 1995 even I made a movie starring Jennifer! She provided her voice talent for Annie Hughes in the Iron Giant. But it is of course the big films like Bruce Almighty that are bringing her increasing critical acclaim as an actress. In non-professional life, she is now Jennifer Pitt.
