Hugh moved into acting after obtaining a Communications degree. With TV roles including the lead in Corelli plus many stage roles (including musicals as he is quite the singer), Hugh was already into his 30's when worldwide recognition came with his role as Wolverine in X-Men. He (and we) were lucky he landed that role! A role reprised in X2 and will be again in X-Men 3. He has fun opposite John Travolta and Halle Berry in the escapist hacker film Swordfish. A couple of romantic dramas are in the mix as well, but it is Van Helsing that is set to be the huge and entertaining blockbuster of 2004.
