Brendan Fraser started in films at the beginning of the 90's. One of those early roles was as Encino Man (aka California Man) - he does seem to enjoy playing the man out of his environment. Wih some comedy thrown in as in Airheads. It was in 1997 that he got the part of George of the Jungle which signified a jump in his reputation. Another step change came two years later with The Mummy as Rick O'Connell - a role he reprised in the sequel a few years later. Between these came films like Bedazzled and Monkeybone (and the voice of Sinbad). And have you seen Looney Tunes: Back in Action?
