Welcome and come on in to WebFantasy.info

This site originally started (long, long ago) as an Elle Macpherson fan site. Then I added a few more beautiful models. Then I thought, why not add some actresses I really like ... and the odd singer and sports star. And, as the site was backed by my Science Fiction site, it was logical to add more of the SF&F actresses and at that point it was obvious I couldn't limit it to just women and it should also include male celebs.

Well, suffice to say, I got carried away with it all and this site now contains numerous celebrities from actors to models to singers to sports stars to action heros to... well basically anybody I feel like adding.

With full respect for these lovely people as individuals, I celebrate their images with hundreds of photos, many taken by the best photographers. These have been gathered from the Web for many years. Some from newsgroups and yes, I have scanned in some myself. Of course these are all subject to original copyrights and I put them here simply to share them with friends and fellow fans around the world. Free. Without restriction. My idea of "best images" is high quality scans, preferably without annoying watermarks that some insist on sticking on. I can't avoid those altogether, but will attempt to find the original images without any alterations. My own scans carry no watermarks.

I wish to make this a pleasurable site to visit, so rather than just have simple pages of thumbnails, I am trying to create something a little more interesting. So, I also try to present a few biographical details and a little about their careers as well. The site will have stuff added to it every month, so please keep checking back.

And so that you can find who you want easily, there are multiple indexes to all the pages.

Webmaster promise number one: There will NOT be any nasty, horrible popups or popunders added to this site that might inundate you on some other celeb sites.

Webmaster promise number two: There will never be any pornographic advertising or pictures added to this site. However, I do not class artistic nude photos as pornographic - so you might find some simple nudity in a few pictures in the same way as you might see beautiful paintings or statues in an art gallery of people who might be lacking clothing. (And in my opinion these are not in any way harmful to children.) There will be no pictures of anybody engaging in sexual activity. There are also no paparazzi pictures on this site - all images are originally taken with the subject's knowledge and permission.

Webmaster promise number three: This site is free. Truly free. No memberships, no forms, no pretend "just sign up with this service to prove you're 18" crap. No. This site is free and will remain so. I hope it will pay for itself by people being happy to follow the useful and related advertising links that can be found around the site. And at some point when I get around to it, the lingerie section will include a proper store. But if all you want to do is look at pictures and information on your favourite celebs, then just go right on ahead!

Weblog of site updates

Nope. Sorry, I have found over time that I can't be bothered with specifying exactly what updates have been done each week/month and I don't think anybody particularly cares anyway. Just look where you want and if there are new photos or even new celebs added, then it is your lucky day! And if there is nothing new on your favourite celeb, at least what was there before is still there!

Once all the sections are created, the indexes will be rebuilt.
